What is the culture of your team? The word culture can have many definitions. For those who live in New York, culture may refer to an evening attending a musical. However the same word means something completely different to a scientist in his laboratory.
Your organization, business, charity group or church has a unique culture. In his article, “Creating the Right Leadership Culture (Leaders on Leadership) Hans Finzel defines corporate culture in this way,
Corporate culture is the way insiders behave based on the values and group traditions of the whole.
How does a leader create an environment that can foster energy, enthusiasm, forward momentum and great success? Finzel says there are 7 key strategies that can produce a healthy teamwork environment. He uses the acrostic – CULTURE.

The culture of an organization is like a fingerprint. It is unique. There is not another one like it. Every organization, business, charity group or congregation is completely unique. It is a counter-productive behavior to treat any organization as identical to another. Identical organizations simply do not exist.
In the development and encouragement of strong teams it is absolutely necessary to learn the culture of that team.
