There are many choices in life that we will make. What kind of education will I pursue? What type of job will I seek out? What type of friends will I engage in life? Will I marry someone or stay single? How about children? There are many choices to be made. These are just a few.
Whether we realize it or not, our style of leadership is a choice. Regardless of our status in life, we are leaders. There are those in our circle of relationships that see us as one to follow. This applies to everyone from the CEO of a large company to the mother of a newborn.

How Can You Live Life as a Strong Leader?
A strong leader believes in something greater than themselves. They have an intense and overpowering emotion. This type of leader is passionate about the cause. Here are five basic character traits of strong leaders.
A strong leader is someone who sees into the future. They have a creative ability to see what the end result looks like.
A strong leader places more value upon the people she works with than the business or organization. They understand that businesses and organizations are of little value without the people that make them up.
The skill of being a learner never ceases with a strong leader. Growing as a leader is all about being willing to be taught. Teachability is a three-step process:
- Replicate in others
Those who are strong leaders have a network of friends and relationships to which they are accountable. Strong leaders never fly solo. A growing leader understands that isolationism will never tap into an abundance of resources and wisdom beyond their own abilities. Being accountable and opened to the influence of others is key to personal growth.
Strong leaders work hard to be optimistic. They labor to grow a positive attitude. This type of leader understands that a positive attitude encourages those who are around them. They also discover that optimism is infectious.
