Bible Quotes About Leadership?

Have you ever read any Bible quotes about leadership?  What does the Bible say about leadership?

In the past fifteen years of my life I have been very interested in what other people have to say about the subject of leadership.  The opinions are vast! Depending on whom you ask and what they do for a living the responses to this question will vary from person to person.

But what does the Bible say about leadership?

As I was thinking about the various answers I have found in regard to this question I also thought that it would be good to post what the Bible has to say about leadership.  Below are some Bible quotes about leadership.

1 If anyone wants to provide leadership in the church, good!

1 Timothy 5:22 (MSG)
22 Don’t appoint people to church leadership positions too hastily. If a person is involved in some serious sins, you don’t want to become an unwitting accomplice. In any event, keep a close check on yourself.

Hebrews 13:17 (MSG)

Strong leadership is needed today.  What scriptures have you found that deal with “leadership?”
